We have a winner! Or should I say, "loser"?

You never know what you will stumble upon.

People always ask me how I find my projects. My response is “it is never the same!” They seem to come to us in million different ways. It could be a call from an agent, or a homeowner that knows what we do and wants to sell off market. It could be someone who wants to collaborate, a reassignment, a friend, or even an acquaintance. However it happens, it is always fun to receive that call! And, once we get word of an opportunity, we are off to check it out.

On this outing, we were looking at two possible “new construction” projects.  Both homes we were called about are considered tear downs.  But you can be the judge.

As we choose our projects, we are definitely armed with the info we have gathered online but a visit to the neighborhood is critical. These are some of the new construction homes that are in the area.

We know their sale and/or asking price which helps us decide what our potential return on these two properties if we stay on budget.

After all of our searching we found our little "diamond" in the rough. Sometimes the uglier the fixer the better. But, we love it!
